Meme Review – Geopolitics Edition

Ukraine owns the internet and we’re all here for it

Nothing has defeated the internet, not Harambe, not Putin, not Kony 2012, nothing. The only way to muddle the power of the internet it to flood it with a shitstorm of misinformation, and we currently stand in the crosswinds. Since the horrible invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the dictatorship of Putin, an outcry from the depths of the planet has come to support the Ukrainian resistance in any ways possible, from crypto donations, free flights to Kiev, and funding military supplies. Internet commenters too, most of whom who have never touched a gun in our lives, are also making their mark by memeing the Russian Federation to death. If the internet can even make a 0.1% impact by making ‘I’m in danger’ memes to throw Putin over the edge and somehow bring out a softer side, why not do your part. Here are some of the best memes that have come out of this so-called World War III.

If anybody’s watched Avatar the Last Airbender we know that when the world needed the Avatar most, he vanished. Now Chief Keef must make his return as hood avatar to represent the shooting nation. Let’s be serious here, Keef is literally addicted to having guns. He probably bought a house just to store his guns, and then bought a smaller house to live in. Chief Keef could easily mind bend the Russian forces with his slick bars and arsenal of weaponry. He may not be the hero we need, but is the hero that we need.

I’m not going to lie, I thought this was the official account of the US Military until I did a little bit of sleuthing. Unfortunately there are so many people in the US that would go to Ukraine already that are just addicted to shooting communists that a draft it most definitely will not going to happen. However, if there was a first overall pick for the draft, I would nominate Dan Bilzerian. Dude is shooting guns for clout, so he might as well do some good from it.

This is a very true meme. History is literally written by a bunch of short dudes that want to take over the world. It’s obvious that toxic masculinity probably gives every man like 4 more inches, so all the feminists really get screwed here. It’s like we live in the 1940s, except that women makes memes instead of weapons.

Is it possible to even have FOMO for not being invited to a war. Kim Jong-Un is literally sitting in his dark stone age country probably texting Putin on whether or not could be added to the Facebook invite. This is frankly punishment itself, just like getting a toddler to sit still for 2 seconds is torture, benching Kim Jong-Un during a war is like forced waterboarding.

As a person who doesn’t believe in toilet humor, Borat is fucking hilarious. He is exactly the sort of impartial diplomat that we need to resolve the politics of this extremely complex and tense situation, and we should be grateful that the middle east is not involved otherwise this would be a really odd love triangle situation.
